Belin Woods

Nestled on the banks of the River Liffey, development of this site required a construction design which paid particular attention to the protection of the river regime and the delicate ecosystem there, in in order to protect the unique biodiversity of the area. The development required a flood management design which incorporated flood compensation storage in order to ensure flood safety of the homes in close proximity to the river.

The scheme consists of 343 residential units, comprising a mix of two and three bed apartments, two and three bed terraced houses, three and four bedroom semi-detached houses, one and two bedroom maisonettes. 48 apartments are contained in 2 buildings of three storeys in height and childcare facility. Houses are a mix of two and three storeys.

Outdoor amenities are provided for the use of the residents, including children’s playgrounds and pocket parks. A crèche is provided to serve the scheme.
