AKM Design Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020.

We are actively working to improve the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Compliance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standard defines requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. We have an ongoing project to make the website fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

akmdesigngroup.ie is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
